Job Description:
- In charge of managing the full spectrum of accounting functions, financial reporting, compliance, and auditing for the company, often in a regional capacity
- Responsible in overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing monthly journal entries and reconciliations, and supporting timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes. This includes maintaining the general ledger in compliance with SFRS/IFRS and preparing financial statements according to statutory requirements.
- In charge of preparing monthly management reports, including variance and cost analysis, to provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Taking charge off leading day-to-day finance operations for AR and AP, reviewing vendor invoices and staff claims, monitoring accounts receivable aging, and managing petty cash.
- Responsible in liaising with auditors for annual audits, assisting with Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings and corporate tax matters, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Responsible in streamlining and enhancing finance processes, workflows, and internal controls, and participating in system improvements and automation initiatives.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum Degree in Accountancy and/or possess CA/CPA/ACCA qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in Audit experience and experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems
