Role Description
The Account Servicing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for supporting key client accounts in industries such as marine, manufacturing, and oil and gas. This role involves providing technical support for composite repair and corrosion prevention applications, including troubleshooting issues on-site and recommending suitable solutions. The Account Servicing Engineer will coordinate and execute service activities, prepare service reports, and assist in project planning to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, responding to service requests, and collaborating with sales and technical teams to address customer needs. The role also includes participating in product demonstrations, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service standards and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to assess asset conditions, diagnose technical issues, and propose effective repair solutions.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to resolve on-site problems and guide clients through application and maintenance procedures.
- Candidates should possess Account Management and Sales skills to build long-term client relationships, identify service opportunities, and support revenue growth.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in engineering (mechanical, marine, materials, or related field) are beneficial.
- Experience in composite repair, corrosion protection, or industrial maintenance environments is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work safely on-site and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple service engagements, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
