Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving business and sales objectives / targets.

  • Identify and hunt for new business opportunities within the Carrier space.

  • Manage key accounts and act as the primary point of contact for customers.

  • Build strategic account relationships across all levels (from Engineers to CEO) and develop new client relationships to achieve sales volume and profit goals.

  • Establish and grow a strong pipeline of business opportunities.

  • Capture qualified opportunities in Salesforce.com and nurture them through the full sales cycle (lead to close).

  • Prepare proposals and present tailored solutions to customers.

  • Lead and collaborate with internal teams to formulate competitive solutions and strategies in a highly competitive environment.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate pre-sales, post-sales, and support resources to ensure successful deal closure and implementation.

Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma / ITE in Engineering or a related discipline, with experience in the telecommunications industry.

  • Overall 8+ years of experience in Sales, minimum 2 years of experience in IT or Telecommunications sales.

  • Familiarity with telecom services such as:

    • Dark Fiber

    • Leased Lines

    • Ethernet

    • MPLS

    • Colocation

    • Cloud Services

    • SDN (Software Defined Networking)

    • NFV (Network Functions Virtualization)

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Independent, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure.

  • Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and creative problem-solving skills.
