Role Overview: Account Manager (Test & Measurement)
Our client is leading global technology and solution provider is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive growth and expand its footprint across the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) market segment in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Sales Strategy: Drive business growth, meet sales targets, develop market strategies, manage pipelines, and provide accurate monthly forecasts for the A&D sector.
Account & Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term, strategic relationships with stakeholders across technical, operational, and executive levels.
End-to-End Deal Execution: Lead complex sales cycles—from opportunity qualification and RFP/tender management to contract negotiation, award, and deployment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside pre-sales, applications, product management, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market developments, customer needs, and competitive activities to secure a strong market position.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Professional Experience: 5–8 years of success in sales, business development, or account management within Test & Measurement, Aerospace & Defense, or Telecommunications.
Network & Industry Knowledge: Established network within Singapore government agencies, defense bodies, system integrators, or research institutions.
Familiarity with government/defense procurement cycles is strongly preferred. Technical Expertise: Technical background in RF/Microwaves and Electronics T&M, alongside basic familiarity with radar, Electronic Warfare (EW), and military communications.
Key Skills: Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities for both technical and commercial audiences; ability to work independently or as part of a team; willingness to travel occasionally.
