About the Role

As an Account Manager at Airwallex, you will own the relationship with our SME clients and work cross functionally, across sales, product, operations, marketing, and strategy, to deliver the best customer experience. This role will focus on qualifying, servicing, upselling, cross-selling, and building multi-stakeholder relationships with your portfolio of customers. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for SMEs, a curiosity of industry trends, and an adventurous spirit to experiment. Additionally, you will work closely with the commercial leadership and strategy team to provide insights to grow the business.

Responsibilities

  • Build Relationships: Cover your portfolio and develop deep understanding of your clients current and future needs.
  • Identify Opportunities: Utilize data and deep understanding of your focus industry, to maximise wallet share and best usage of our platform.
  • Educate and Activate: Teach customers how to leverage the full range of Airwallex products, and ensure adoption of our products.
  • Champion Customer Needs: Act as the voice of the customer within Airwallex, ensuring their needs and feedback are heard and addressed.
  • Advocate for Airwallex: Create a strong impression on our clients, and contribute to being the partner of choice to your focus industry.

Requirements

  • Strong Hustle: You love sales, and are driven and resilient to achieve KPIs.
  • Customer Engagement: Confident in directly engaging with customers to understand their needs and promote Airwallex solutions.
  • Relationship Builder: Able to build meaningful, collaborative relationships with all people that you work with, both internally and externally.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication in English. Proficiency in other South East Asian languages will be added advantage.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Equipped with strong problem-solving skills, able to address and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Collaborative: Great team player who enjoys tackling the most difficult challenges with your colleagues.
  • Tech-Savviness: Comfortable with using new software/tools to drive client activation and increase wallet share.
  • Industry Experience: 1-2 years experience in account management, with proven track record of driving revenue growth within existing accounts. Exposure to start-up and fintech environments preferred.
