Job Description:
The incumbent is responsible for identifying market, product portfolio and individual customer strategies and opportunities. This position requires a self-starting individual who is able to communicate with varying personal backgrounds in a business and social environment. This role is for Singapore region only.
Key Responsibilities
- To promote and sell maintenance /repair/overhaul services.
- Coordination between customer and workshop team on job requirements.
- In charge of new units and After-Market Service Sales with designated customers.
- Create and implement value-added services to existing customers.
- Marketing of new products and newly added services to existing and potential new customers.
- Bidding/Tendering/Managing of service contracts.
- Maintaining good business relationship with customers.
- Maintaining good partnership with suppliers and OEM.
- Liaising and coordinating between customers and vendors.
- Handle enquiries and quotation relating to commercial and technical matters.
- Preparation of Service quotations / Tendering documents.
- Planning and coordination for major shutdown maintenance projects.
- Provide after-sales support and maintenance services to key accounts.
- Co-ordinate On-site equipment troubleshooting (supported from Field Service team).
- Weekly reporting and generate potential new sales leads.
- Prepare and update marketing material for presentations.
- Conduct product / services presentation to new & existing customers.
- Active Team player with ownership to ensure smooth work flow as account manager.
Customer-Relationship-Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, OEM partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead technical discussions, negotiations, and contract discussions, ensuring favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Drive sales activities, from lead generation to closing deals
- Manage the sales pipeline, forecast sales, and report progress regularly to the Sales Team leader / Managing director
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market opportunities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience & Pre requisites:
- Proven track record in Turbo machinery, pumps, compressors, electric motors aftermarket service sales or relevant.
- Good contacts with end-users in the Oil and Gas / Chemicals/Manufacturing / semiconductor / Industrial segments
- Minimum 2 3 Years Sales experience in Turbo machinery, pumps, Compressors & Rotating equipment industry.
- Those with Sales Experience in Electric motors / Automation / IOT
solutions services will be considered. - ITE / Diploma or Bachelor's degree holder in Electrical, Mechanical
Engineering or relevant discipline. - Possess class 3 driving license and preferably to have own transport (Transport allowances will be provided).
