Mission (About the Role)
We are seeking an Account Manager to drive business growth within the Infrastructure segments for Schneider Electric's Industrial Automation Business Unit in Singapore. This role is responsible for developing strategic relationships with key customers, managing complex accounts, and delivering innovative automation solutions that align with Schneider Electric's sustainability and digital transformation vision.
What will you do
Account Management & Growth:
- Manage and grow strategic accounts in the Infrastructure sectors such as Datacenter, Transportation.
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive share-of-wallet growth.
Customer Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers at Infrastructure segment.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing technical and commercial guidance on Schneider Electric's Industrial Automation portfolio.
Solution Selling:
- Promote Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure architecture and digital solutions for industrial automation and facilities management.
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
Market Development:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics in the Infrastructure segments.
- Provide feedback to marketing and product teams to refine offerings and strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Technical Support, Project Management) to ensure seamless pursuit of projects.
What qualifications will make you successful
- 3+ years of sales experience in industrial automation, Infrastructure sectors.
- Exposure to account management, solution selling, and business development.
- Understanding of automation systems, PLCs, SCADA, and digital solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects and deliver results under tight timelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Automation) or related field.
- Self-starter with aspiration to become a people manager/future leader.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
