We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Account Manager to drive new business growth across targeted sectors. This is a Hunter role, ideal for a self-starter with a proven track record in consultative sales, who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building meaningful client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sector-specific sales strategy to generate new business revenue.
- Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales performance.
- Monitor sales activity against quota and adjust strategies to ensure targets are met.
- Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within assigned sectors.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline aligned with quarterly and annual quotas.
- Maintain detailed records of pipeline activity and sales progress.
- Leverage deep industry knowledge to consult and support prospective clients.
- Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of enterprise sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communications and listening skills
- Experience of managing meetings with C-suite representatives and key decision makers
- Entrepreneurial drive and comfort working in ambiguous, quickly-changing environments
- Track record of establishing senior level, long term client relationships to generate cross-sell and upsell opportunities with strategic accounts
- Experience of consistently exceeding quota of SGD 1 million and more, with proven success
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision
- Experience selling or marketing learning solutions is an advantage
- Proven ability to drive incremental YOY revenue, create new relationships and manage existing ones, and build loyalty across different business units
