Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Handle full spectrum of accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Cash Book.

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and schedules for review.

  • Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and ensure accuracy of financial records.

  • Manage payroll processing, CPF submissions, and statutory filings (GST, corporate tax, IRAS compliance).

  • Oversee invoicing, collections, and payment processing to maintain healthy cash flow.

  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities for statutory requirements.

  • Monitor budgets, track expenses, and provide variance analysis to management.

  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records in compliance with company policies.

  • Support management in financial planning, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.

  • Perform ad-hoc duties such as system updates, process improvements, and administrative support.

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, CPA).

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience handling full set accounts.

  • Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST, and tax regulations.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).

  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise with external parties (auditors, tax agents, banks).
