Account Executive (Maternity Cover)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Account Executive to provide maternity cover from 19 October 2026 to 28 February 2026.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

AR

• Check and approve debtor journal, e-invoice, debit and credit note.
• Check AR aging report.
• Arrange, setup and prepare meeting material for the monthly Debtors / Operation meetings.
• Check and approve debit note for non-stock billing.
• Check& confirm credit card refund to customers.

AP

• Check and approve payments documents for local and oversea payments.
• Confirm batch AP GIRO payments in system, 2 days after value date.
• Check and approve referral commission payment to Yamaha teacher.

Fixed Assets

• Maintain asset category code in fixed asset module.
• Check coding for fixed asset addition, disposal and transfer.
• Perform FA adjustment if necessary.

General Ledger & Reporting

• Check and approve journals.
• Ensure monthly /year-end closing by 3rd working day.
• Analysis of financial report.
• Check monthly P&L and B/S schedules.
• Prepare monthly KPI reports.
• Monthly Expenses Analysis Report.

Others

• Check monthly exchange rates prepared by Senior Executive.
• Check monthly bank reconciliation prepared by AR staff.
• Check & Approve e-claims submitted by staff in the e-Claim Portal.
• Check technical agent claim/fee.
• Maintain chart of accounts, project code and tender code in system.
• Update renovation control list.
• Check quarterly GST filing.
• Check Department of Statistics survey.
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned.

JOBREQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy.
• Well-versed in MS Excel.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience in full set of accounting.
• Prior experience with AS400 JDA system is advantageous.
• Meticulous with a high level of integrity, detailed oriented and able to work independently.
• Must have strong initiative, good communication, interpersonal skills, positive attitude and problem-solving skills.
