Account Executive/Assistant (Timor-Leste)
Location: Based in Timor-Leste
Job Description
- Handle daily cash transactions, payments, and receipts in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate cash books, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Assist in bank deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliation of cash and bank balances.
- Support monthly closing by preparing cash-related schedules and reports.
- Ensure timely submission of expense claims and petty cash records.
- Liaise with the finance team to ensure smooth cash flow management.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in cashier or accounting roles.
- Familiarity with cash handling, reconciliation, and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Xero experience is an advantage).
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin, to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
