IN BRIEF

We are looking for an Account Director to lead Global Web3 and Fintech brands, playing a pivotal role in building and growing effective client relationships in this fast-paced industry. We're looking for a forward-thinking leader who lives at the intersection of brand marketing, experiential events, and the what's next in Web3 and technology. Day-to-day, you'll be the strategic architect leading the team agency to deliver immersive consumer brand experiences, and integrated campaigns which deliver meaningful results.

Strategic Brand Marketing

  • Strong understanding of brand marketing, equity, and maintaining brand integrity across diverse markets.
  • Proven track record in integrated campaigns (ATL, BTL, digital and social), including events marketing and management, from conceptualization to post-event analysis.
  • You'll be confident in acting as the lead consultant for clients, and internal teams to ensure all campaigns align with core brand marketing principles and long-term global identity.
  • Proven understanding of Web3 trends, decentralized tech, and how they apply to brand storytelling is preferable.

Client Management

  • You will proactively seek opportunities to do more for our clients. You will apply your passion for marketing, marketplace knowledge and your deep understanding of the client's needs to shape smart, relevant proactive proposals.
  • Deeply understand clients business and business issues and serve as a trusted advisor to drive effective solutions.
  • Build and maintain effective global client relationships across timezones, ensuring that all clients needs are listened to, understood and responded to in a timely way.
  • Ensure clear communication to the client regarding roles and responsibilities, scope, budget, schedules and project status/action items
  • Ensure stability of revenues by managing existing projects to ensure client needs are met
  • Guide the development, writing and presentation of incremental project proposals, scopes of work, schedules and staffing plans. Ensure changes are clearly communicated to clients and approved.

Creative Management

  • Ensure that an opportunity brief is developed to set the stage for strategic creative development which effectively answers the business need.
  • Collaborate with creative partners to ensure all creative content and agency solutions address the business need, and fit with brand marketing strategy.
  • Participate in creative brainstorms to generate ideas for clients
  • Ensure that a measurement metric is in place

Budget Management

  • You will own overall responsibility for account revenue targets
  • You will manage the budget process from a profit generation perspective including expense management, client quoting and profit modelling
  • You will provide accurate reporting in preparation for monthly forecasting
  • You stay abreast of client billing escalation issues and ensure they are being resolved
  • You will provide guidance to finance and procurement to effectively negotiate with clients

Team Management

  • Responsible for managing and motivating direct reports and the wider team
  • Ensure regular team meetings and manage communications between team members, ensuring all deadlines are met

New Business

  • Entrepreneurial Instincts - you'll understand a need and find a solution to meet it
  • Manage account, contact business development activity and pipeline opportunity information in CRM system.
  • Actively pursue and drive new revenue opportunities / new business
  • Support new business credentials
  • Drive and lead new business pitches

About You

  • 8+ years in an agency environment, specifically working with major global consumer brands. Web3 brand experience is preferred.
  • You're a self-starter who promotes a culture of entrepreneurial spirit.
  • You're a hybrid-thinker - you understand the old world of marketing but aren't afraid to break it with new technology.
  • You didn't just hear about AI and Web3 yesterday; you've been experimenting with how they can solve real business problems.
  • You communicate with clarity, conviction and persuasiveness tailored to different situations
  • You have an agile mindset. You keep everything in perspective and lead your team and business that way
  • You understand the marketplace and use this information to inform business decisions
  • You are able to have strategic and complex financial conversations with clients
  • You demonstrate active listening skills in a variety of situations, seeking out others ideas, are open to them and are able to take action where appropriate
  • You are able to build effective relationships, able to understand and respond to the agenda of others and are able to help unlock future client opportunities
