Accounting Responsibilities:
- Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR and General Ledger.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and support month-end closing.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable and follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collection.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and update daily/weekly actuals.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, bank reconciliation, and audit schedules.
- Handle GST filing and ensure timely submission to IRAS.
- Good understanding of bank facilities, including bank guarantees, loan terms, hire purchase and mortgage loans.
- Liaise with auditors, suppliers, customers, and external partners as required.
- Maintain proper documentation, filing, and compliance with accounting standards.
HR Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle of recruitment: job posting, screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
- Handle work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations (WP/SP/EP).
- Process monthly payroll, CPF contributions, and generate payslips.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and staff handbook.
- Manage and renew company insurance policies (medical, work injury, etc.).
- Maintain employee records, leave, attendance, and HR database.
- Submit tax clearance (IR21) and prepare annual IR8A forms.
- Support training, employee relations, and HR compliance matters.
- Assist with ad-hoc HR and finance tasks when required.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in both HR and accounting roles.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, CPF regulations, IRAS tax filing, payroll processes, and GST requirements.
- Proficient in Xero accounting software and Payboy payroll system.
- Independent, resourceful, meticulous, and able to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
