Account & Business Development Manager, SEA

MISSION

You will lead and grow Fime's commercial footprint in South East Asia, with a focus on deepening relationships and opening new opportunities with key players in the payments ecosystem. You will own the local sales plan and order booking performance across all business lines — Consulting (Consult Hyperion), Testing Services, and Testing Tools — combining strong payments testing and certification fluency with a consultative, solutions driven sales approach

ACTIVITIES

  • Lead sales strategy and execution. Define, execute, and own the South East Asia sales plan, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to negotiation, closure, and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and grow key accounts. Win new business across the territory, including expanding accounts that already work with Fime through inside sales, and lead strategic account planning for acquirers, issuers, PSPs, and technology providers.
  • Drive complex commercial opportunities. Lead commercial development of complex, multi‑service opportunities (consulting, advisory, testing, tools), ensuring Fime's full portfolio is positioned effectively with key clients and prospects.
  • Engage senior technical and business stakeholders. Navigate complex client organisations to identify and reach senior economic and technical buyers, and lead high‑value negotiations and consultative discussions focused on testing and certification needs.
  • Coordinate go‑to‑market with internal teams. Collaborate with the APAC SVP, Business Unit leaders, marketing, and product teams to align offerings, build targeted local campaigns, and ensure consistent market messaging.
  • Represent Fime in the ecosystem. Represent Fime at industry events, forums, and trade shows to strengthen brand visibility, nurture your network, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Provide market and client insights. Maintain accurate sales pipeline and reporting aligned with global KPIs, and provide structured feedback on market trends, client needs, and competitive positioning to help shape future offerings and priorities.

JOB EXPERIENCE

  • At least 8 years of experience in the payments ecosystem in a product, pre‑sales, solution, technical sales, or commercial role. A traditional B2B sales background is welcome but not required. Deep ecosystem fluency is.
  • Experience working for or with processors, schemes, payment service providers, acquirers, issuers, or technology vendors in South East Asia.
  • One of two target profiles:
  • Product or solution background at a processor, scheme, or technology vendor, or
  • Technical pre‑sales / sales engineering background in payments testing or certification.
  • Credibility to lead testing and certification discussions with technical buyers in QA, product, and payments. This is essential.
  • An established network in the South East Asia payments ecosystem, with a track record of using it to open and grow accounts.
  • Experience in the digital identity ecosystem is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and consistently achieve order booking targets.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • University degree in Business Administration, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong technical fluency in the payments ecosystem, combined with solid commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to engage and influence senior decision makers and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a global, matrixed organisation.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities, stakeholders, and deadlines across different countries.
  • Perseverance and resilience in long, multi stakeholder sales cycles, with a proactive, self starting approach to creating opportunities.
  • Curiosity and consultative mindset, able to surface client pain points, map stakeholder landscapes, and identify true decision makers and budget owners.
  • Fluency in English; a South East Asian language (e.g. Bahasa, Thai, Vietnamese, or Mandarin) is a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across South East Asia.
