Job Summary
Join iZeeM as an Accounts Assistant to manage financial transactions, process payables and receivables, issue invoices, support financial statement preparation, and ensure data accuracy to drive effective accounting operations.
Responsibilities
- Track and record financial transactions using spreadsheets and accounting software to maintain accurate records
- Process payables and receivables by issuing and receiving payments, updating records, and administering payment-related communications to customers and clients
- Issue itemized invoices to customers or partners, prepare supporting documents, ensure invoice accuracy, distribute invoices, and track payment progress
- Support senior and accounting partners in preparing income statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets by compiling data and verifying internal records
- Review financial data for accuracy and completeness, identify discrepancies, and report findings to senior staff for resolution
- Interact productively and courteously with customers and vendors to facilitate smooth financial operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
- Strong attention to detail and meticulous work approach
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- LCCI or ACCA certifications preferred
