We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Account Assistant to support the Finance Department in daily accounting operations.
Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Assist in month-end closing and preparation of financial reports
Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing
Assist with GST reporting and submission
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and banks when required
Provide administrative support to the Finance team
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, LCCI, or equivalent qualification
At least 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or similar)
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Good communication and organisational skills
Experience in [insert industry if applicable]
Experience handling GST submissions
Able to commence work within short notice
