Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Assistant to support our finance team in handling daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will assist with bookkeeping, data entry, and financial record maintenance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Perform data entry for invoices, receipts, and financial transactions
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments on billing matters
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Fresh graduates may apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and GST
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, data entry, basic functions)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in handling financial data
