Our client, a private education institution, is seeking a Lecturer (Sports Science) to join their team. This role is created to support the institution's growing academic and business needs, providing teaching and guidance in radiography programmes. They are located in the Central - easily accessible.
Location: Central (Nearest MRT: City Hall)
Salary: Up to $5,800
Working Days: Mon - Fri (8.30AM- 6PM)
Key Responsibilities: -
- Plan and deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and laboratory sessions for certificate, diploma, and undergraduate students, including international students when required.
- Monitor student progress through effective assessment strategies, providing constructive feedback and supporting skill development.
- Contribute to the creation and development of the School's intellectual property.
Examination Quality & Moderation
- Oversee the preparation, marking, and moderation of coursework and examinations.
- Ensure the quality and standard of examination papers within the area of specialization.
- Conduct objective assessments of examination appeals in Sports Science.
Lecturer Management
- Support the management and professional development of academic staff within the Sports Science discipline.
- Review teaching assignments and assist in the allocation of courses.
- Conduct classroom observations as required to maintain teaching quality.
Student Support & Development
- Provide academic guidance and learning support to students, monitoring their performance in Sports Science programmes.
- Advise students on academic progress, career pathways, and opportunities for further studies in Sports Science.
Requirements:
- Master's in Sports Science or related field.
- At least a pass at GCE O Level or its equivalent in the language medium of the programme/module.
- Min 3 years of teaching experience at diploma level or above.
- Open to working shifts, including evenings and weekends.
