Job Description
The Academic Administrator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the academic department and maintaining compliance with institutional and partner requirements. The role involves managing academic processes, providing support to students and staff, and fostering effective collaboration across departments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Doctoral Dissertation Support:
- Track and update progress reports for doctoral dissertation supervision.
- Process monthly claims and payments for Dissertation Supervisors.
2. External Degree Partner Coordination:
- Update student results from External Degree Partners.
- Arrange re-assessments as required.
- Attend assessment board meetings with External Degree Partners.
3. Student and Assignment Monitoring:
- Monitor assignment submissions to ensure timely completion.
- Track and oversee student academic progress.
- Ensure assignment grading schedules are adhered to.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain and update EduTrust documentation for the Academic Department.
- Prepare required reports for the Academic Department and university programmes.
5. Academic Liaison:
- Serve as the main point of contact for academic matters with university partners.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate academic communications.
6. Programme and Logistics Support:
- Provide administrative support for all programmes.
- Coordinate logistics for class delivery, ensuring requirements are met efficiently.
7. Student Engagement Support:
- Assist the Personal Academic Tutor in organizing meetings with students.
- Gather and report feedback on academic matters to drive continuous improvement and address student concerns.
8. Additional Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Academic Directors.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Academic Directors.
