Work with VIAVI's product teams to develop 6G technologies, including massive MIMO, integrated sensing and communication (ISAC), and AI-native radio systems using AI tools for software development.
Rapid prototyping of new concepts on CPU and/or GPUs for collaboration and evaluation with customers.
Develop simulation and emulation models (MATLAB, Python, C/C++) to assess physical layer and system-level performance.
Education:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
Technical Expertise:
Strong foundation in wireless communication theory (OFDM, MIMO, beamforming, channel modeling, coding, and PHY/MAC design).
Good knowledge of channel modeling, particularly with a focus on ray-tracing techniques and AI/ML technologies.
Experience with MATLAB, Python, or CUDA C++, and containers (Docker, Podman).
Hands-on skills in prototyping on wireless communication systems.
Familiarity with 5G NR architecture and emerging 6G concepts such as AI-native RAN, ISAC, or non-terrestrial networks (NTN).
