Working Hours:
- Minimum 3-4 days per week
- Shifts available:
Day: 8am - 8pm (11 hours paid, 1 hour unpaid break)
Night: 8pm - 8am (11 hours paid, 1 hour unpaid break)
What You'll Do:
- Provide professional maternal and infant care advice and emotional support to postpartum mothers
- Communicate effectively with mothers to ensure their comfort and confidence
- Conduct thorough assessments of newborns, including vital signs and respiratory status
- Perform maternal and infant care procedures such as feeding, bathing, and diaper changing
- Build strong rapport with clients by delivering personalized, high-quality care
- Create a warm and comforting environment for mothers and newborns
- Conduct educational sessions tailored to postpartum needs
- Assess and record clients learning progress
- Educate parents on neonatal care, feeding techniques, developmental milestones, and safe home practices
Requirements:
- Nitec/Diploma in nursing
- Prior internship experience in nursing - training will be provided
- Compassionate, patient, and good communication skills
- Reliable and committed to providing excellent care
