Job Description

Senior Regional FP&A Analyst (6 months contract) is responsible for monthly reporting, annual budget, forecast, financial analysis and development of financial reports. He/She plays a pivotal financial business partner role, partnering with Global Finance team, Local finance teams and other corporate and business functions on a regional level.

Key Accountabilities

  • In charge of monthly reporting operations including review of local financial reporting packages and submission to HQ before stipulated deadlines.

  • Plays a key role in the annual budget and forecasts process, including but not limited to preparation of guidelines, review and creation of templates, review of SBCs submissions, performing regional consolidation and preparation of region/global reports.

  • Planning and communicate to local Finance on annual deadlines.

  • Coordinate with each local finance to ensure timely submission of all monthly and annual deliverables within stipulated deadlines.

  • Manage HFM data, reporting and submission process and performing regional consolidation for APAC region, working closely with Global FP&A team

  • Design and preparation of monthly financial reports and financial presentation decks for management.

  • Provide analysis of monthly results (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and Capex), including reporting on other business performance metrics by collaborating with local finance teams and explain variances against budget and forecast scenarios.

  • Monitor and analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, cost of sales, margin, SGA, operating income, capital expenditures and cashflow against budget and forecast.

  • Manage APAC SGF process and reportings, working closely with APAC Admin Finance.

  • Provide adhoc reports/analysis where required.

  • Handle approval process for financial matters via ASFM system. Including drafting requests that require regional/global approval.

  • Providing continual support to all the regional companies.

  • In charge of creation of GL/PC/CC in SAP.

  • Any other work-related adhoc duties as assigned by the supervisor or other appointed manager.

Requirements:

Formal Qualifications

  • Degree in Accountancy (or equivalent ACCA level credential).
  • A Big 4 Accounting experience and Med tech industry experience is preferred.

Key Skills / Core Competencies

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, SAP and Hyperion are required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across different departments.
  • Able to work under pressure and ability to deal effectively with ambiguity
  • Committed, meticulous with analytical skills
  • Team player, proactive and able to work independently

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a MNC environment.
  • A Big 4 Accounting experience and Med tech industry experience is preferred.
