1. User Support and Issue Management
- Serve as the first point of contact for research system users.
- Monitor the service portal, triage queries, and provide first-level functional support.
- Troubleshoot user issues and escalate technical problems to the IT department or external vendors.
- Track progress of reported issues and ensure timely resolution or interim workarounds.
2. Training and Documentation
- Maintain and update system-related user guides, FAQs, and training resources.
- Assist in preparing and delivering system training sessions and user engagement events.
- Update internal documentation to reflect new features or procedural changes.
3. System Maintenance and Change Management
- Support the testing of system fixes and approved changes before deployment.
- Coordinate regular system functionality checks and maintenance routines.
- Participate in system meetings, document decisions and action items, and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing for and supporting audits related to system and process compliance.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with IT and administrative departments to align system performance with user needs.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend enhancements.
- Participate in projects aimed at improving research system usability and functionality.
5. Grant Management and Research Office Support
- Gain hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of grant management to build functional understanding of research workflows.
- Support other administrative and operational tasks related to research support, ensuring cohesive service delivery across the office.
