Quality Assurance Engineer (Customer Support)
Location: Sembawang
Working Hours: 8am - 5pm (Mon to Fri)
Salary: SGD 2,800 - 4,500

Job Description
We are seeking motivated engineers to support customer quality assurance, product improvement, and R&D activities while working closely with internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaise with Production/Process teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Conduct process optimisation, benchmarking, and improvement projects using statistical tools
- Prepare and present 8D reports, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans
- Support external audits in compliance with TS and ISO standards
- Monitor product performance and implement enhancements to improve customer satisfaction
- Participate in internal quality programs and cross-functional projects
- Collaborate with customers to resolve technical and quality concerns promptly
- Perform additional duties assigned by Management
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related discipline
- Experience in semiconductor industry and handling customer quality issues is an advantage
- Knowledge of statistical tools and methodologies (DOE, JMP, FMEA, SPC, 8D) preferred
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 standards is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and in teams
