4 months Accounting Specialist
- Prepare and post month end journals
- Reconciling bank statements and clearing recon items on timely manner
- Prepare monthly schedules and ensure outstanding items are logically itemized and resolved within a reasonable timeline
- Reconcile external records (Statement of Accounts/bordereaux from reinsurer/broker/intercompany) against our balances
- Resolve accounting errors/reconciliation differences by collaborating with other finance/other department colleagues and external parties
- Follow up on premium collection and assign incoming money to outstanding receivables
- Arrange for payments and assign outgoing payments to outstanding payables
