Project Title:

SPC ((Statistical Process Control) Optimization: From Monitoring to Intelligent Detection

Project Objective:

This project aims to improve the efficiency and accuracy of Statistical Process Control (SPC) by organizing and standardizing all existing SPC charts and developing a robust detection strategy. The intern will work on tidying up and consolidating SPC monitoring dashboards, ensuring clarity and usability, and designing a detection framework that enhances early identification of process deviations. This initiative will strengthen process reliability and support continuous improvement in manufacturing quality.

Project Outcome:

As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in SPC, data analysis, visualization, and process optimization using industry tools, while building problem-solving, documentation, and presentation skills through real-world manufacturing projects. For the company, the initiative will deliver organized and consistent SPC charts for improved clarity, implement an effective detection system to identify deviations early, and strengthen process reliability and operational efficiency, supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Organize and standardize SPC charts for clarity and usability.

  • Design a user-friendly SPC dashboard for monitoring key parameters.

  • Develop a detection framework to flag abnormal trends and potential process issues.

  • Document best practices and create guidelines for SPC chart management and detection strategy implementation.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Securityrequirements,and programs.

Required Qualifications:

Actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Computer Science/ Engineering Data Analytics or any other related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) concepts.

Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar).

Familiarity with programming or scripting (Python, R, or similar) for data handling is a plus.
