Job Summary
You will support daily local deliveries and KD container operations by safely transporting goods across Singapore, conducting vehicle inspections, securing cargo, and coordinating with the operations team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily deliveries and collections across Singapore to meet scheduled timelines
- Handle KD clearance efficiently to support operations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit and maintain load integrity
- Liaise with the operations team to receive job assignments and provide delivery updates
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery (POD) and related documentation
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety standards to ensure safe transportation
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid Singapore Class 4 driving license to operate 24ft trucks legally and safely
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience driving 24ft trucks to demonstrate proven capability
- Familiarity with Singapore roads, PSA terminals, and industrial areas to navigate efficiently
- Experience in container and KD operations to handle specialized delivery tasks
- Physical fitness to assist with loading and unloading when required
- Demonstrate responsibility, punctuality, and ability to work independently
- Exhibit a positive attitude and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
