Job Summary
You will join the Logistics team to perform delivery and operational tasks, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, safe transportation, and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive delivery vehicles safely while complying with all transportation laws and maintaining a clean driving record
- Assist in loading and unloading goods, including equipment and machinery, to ensure timely deliveries
- Collect and verify invoices assigned for each delivery
- Check items and quantities against Packing Lists or Delivery Orders to ensure accuracy before dispatch
- Obtain customer signatures with company stamp on invoices as proof of receipt upon delivery
- Facilitate customer stock checks before leaving the delivery premises to confirm order completeness
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies during delivery and operational activities
- Collaborate effectively with team members to support smooth logistics operations
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by managers or supervisors
Required competencies and certifications
- Valid Singapore Class 4 driving license
- Ability to communicate simple English for effective customer interaction
- Physical fitness to carry equipment and cargo safely
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience
- Familiarity with Singapore roads
