Position Overview
Seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead the rollout of a confirmation matching platform across APAC. This role focuses on end-to-end functional analysis, project delivery, and driving transformation initiatives across multiple business and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end study, design, and rollout of the confirmation matching platform
- Define project roadmap, cost structure, and transformation strategy, including quick-win opportunities
- Act as functional lead, ensuring alignment across front-to-back processes, regulatory requirements, and local market needs
- Manage overall project delivery, including coordination across business, IT, and regional/global teams
- Perform business analysis: requirements gathering, BRD creation, testing strategy, and UAT coordination
- Work closely with development teams on solution design, implementation, and testing
- Oversee IT architecture, data flows, and API strategy
- Handle vendor management, procurement, and contract processes
- Drive change management and stakeholder engagement across operations and business units
- Act as APAC subject matter expert and key point of contact for business lines
- Lead governance, reporting, and steering committees, ensuring risks/issues are escalated proactively
- Support training, knowledge transfer, and post go-live activities
Requirements
- min 5 years experience in investment banking with strong BA/PM background
- Strong knowledge of capital markets (especially FICC, FX) and full trade lifecycle (front-to-back)
- Proven experience in large-scale transformation or system implementation projects
- Familiar with booking, P&L, risk, settlements, reconciliation, and accounting processes
- Strong stakeholder management across front office, operations, finance, and IT
- Experience working in global/matrix environments with regional and central teams
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to deliver under tight timelines
