Position Overview

The Business Development Manager, Token Ecosystem will build and grow Tencent Cloud's global partner ecosystem for Hunyuan large language models and Token Factory, owning the full commercial cycle from ecosystem mapping and partner acquisition to negotiation, contracting, onboarding, and post-launch token consumption growth. This is a business development role with direct ownership of partner pipeline and consumption outcomes: it converts partnerships across Token Factory, model distribution, and AI application segments into sustained usage and revenue, while working with product, R&D, legal, security, and compliance teams to ensure every partnership meets regional regulatory and risk requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Build the ecosystem map and target partner pipeline across priority regions, identifying, qualifying, and prioritising partners in Token Factory, model distribution, and AI application segments.
Own commercial negotiation and deal closure, leading partners from first engagement through commercial and technical validation, contract terms, pricing, and signing, then driving platform onboarding.
Drive token consumption growth after launch, designing and executing joint go-to-market programmes such as developer initiatives, token credit packages, and reference scenarios, and adapting strategy to the characteristics of each region.
Represent partner and market requirements internally, working with product and R&D teams to prioritise international readiness, localisation, and capability adaptation that unblocks partner adoption.
Manage regional compliance and risk control together with legal, security, and compliance teams, covering partner due diligence, data processing agreements, and cross-border data and regulatory review.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline
Minimum three years of experience in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, or developer ecosystem roles, including at least one year in international business development.
Working knowledge of API and MaaS commercial models, including token-based consumption pricing and partner monetisation mechanics, and of how model providers, model platforms, and AI application or agent tooling ecosystems operate commercially.
Demonstrated business development track record owning deals end to end, from sourcing and negotiation through contracting and joint go-to-market, with measurable results in partner activation, consumption, or revenue.
Proven ability to drive cross-functional execution across product, R&D, legal, and compliance teams, aligning stakeholders and moving partner engagements from discussion to signed, delivered outcomes.
Professional proficiency in English and Chinese Mandarin, both written and verbal, is required to lead commercial negotiation, contracting, and joint go-to-market discussions with international partners, and to collaborate effectively with Chinese-speaking product, R&D, legal, and compliance teams at headquarters.
