[What the role is]

This role sits with the International (INTL) Group, which amplifies Singapore's influence and presence in the global digital economy, enabling the nation to transcend its physical limitations and emerge as a bigger red dot on the international stage. The Group focuses on building robust relationships with countries worldwide and lays essential groundwork for the next phase of development in ASEAN's digital economy. Through its comprehensive approach to international engagement, INTL creates opportunities for Singapore to capture greater value and strengthen its position in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
This role is expected to be based in China, following an initial period in IMDA Headquarters, Singapore. It will include supervisory responsibilities and will provide leadership and direction for regional China operations. You will be part of a team responsible for end-to-end bilateral engagements and cooperation between Singapore and China to facilitate digital economy collaboration and technology policy cooperation at both the Government-to-Government (G2G) and Business-to-Business (B2B) levels.
Your portfolio will have a specific focus on regional China operations, covering key cities such as Shanghai, Suzhou and Shenzhen while supporting broader China engagements and workstreams where required.
