As the VP of Marketing, you'll own Osome's demand engine: the qualified pipeline we generate, what it costs us, and how resilient it is. You'll carry a SQL and CAC target alongside our VP of Sales, and you'll own brand and positioning in service of those numbers. This is a demand and efficiency role first, and a brand role second.

As a critical contributor to our company's direction and growth, you'll report directly to the CEO and own marketing strategy, the self-serve acquisition funnel, and marketing operations.

We currently have operations in four markets: Singapore, Hong Kong, the UK and the UAE, but market our services globally. You will own growth across all of these markets and enter new ones.

Responsibilities:

Own marketing-sourced qualified pipeline and blended cost per acquisition by territory.
Reduce our dependence on any single acquisition channel. No channel should be able to take more than a third of our pipeline with it.
Own messaging and competitive differentiation, positioning Osome's unique value proposition across our markets in a category where competitors replicate each other's landing pages within a week.
Lead a team of 20 across demand creation, demand capture, web, content, design and field marketing.
Build a measurement layer, a single territory-level view of spend, leads, SQLs and CAC.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders in product and sales to strategically plan, create, and launch compelling campaigns and stories tailored to resonate with our target audiences, jointly accountable with the VP of Sales for the pipeline number and the marketing-to-sales handoff.
Own the self-serve funnel end to end.
Own paid search and paid social directly and hands-on, close enough to account structure, bidding strategy and landing-page conversion to hold an independent view.
Build brand where it demonstrably lowers acquisition cost or defends pricing.

Who you are:

Owned a performance marketing P&L at scale; personally accountable for CAC or cost per qualified lead, not just managing the person who was
Run demand generation across multiple countries simultaneously, including at least one entered from scratch.
Broken a channel concentration problem before, took a business dependent on one acquisition source and diversified it. Can describe what failed and how long it actually took.
Led a marketing team of 20 through a restructure, including role changes and exits.
Established work experience as a VP of Marketing, Chief Marketing Officer, or a similar senior role within tech organisations.
Built the measurement layer themselves (attribution, cohort analysis, incrementally or geo-testing) and used it to move budget and defend that decision.
Sold to SMEs or founders in a high-velocity, low-to-mid-ACV motion.
Experience in the field of accounting solutions would be a plus.
