About Sofnade

Sofnade Catering is a MUIS Halal-certified catering and live food station company serving corporate events, weddings, schools, government agencies and private celebrations across Singapore.

Our work is highly visual. From live cooking stations and themed buffets to weddings and large corporate events, there is always something worth capturing. We are looking for a hands-on marketer who can turn these moments into content, campaigns, enquiries and sales.

This is not a desk-only marketing role. You will be expected to attend selected events, take good photographs, film engaging videos, manage our advertising and proactively develop new ways to grow the Sofnade brand.

The Role

You will take ownership of Sofnade's digital marketing across:

Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn
Meta Ads and Google Ads
SEO and blog content
Website and landing-page content
Event photography and videography
Marketing campaigns, promotions and partnerships
Performance tracking and reporting

You will work directly with management and our operations team. We will provide access to events, products, staff and business information, but we expect you to independently plan and execute the marketing work.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation and Social Media

Plan and manage Sofnade's monthly content calendar.
Attend selected events to capture photographs and videos.
Script, film and edit short-form videos for Reels, TikTok and Facebook.
Create engaging corporate, wedding, product and promotional content.
Write captions, select thumbnails and schedule posts.
Maintain consistent posting without requiring reminders from management.
Adapt content for each platform instead of posting the exact same version everywhere.
Capture timely content during events for Stories and quick-turnaround posts.
Maintain an organised media library of photographs, videos and completed content.

Content should include a healthy mix of:

Event highlights and portfolio showcases
Food and live-station videos
Behind-the-scenes kitchen and event preparation
Customer reactions and testimonials
Corporate and wedding sales content
Staff personalities and company culture
Educational and informative content
Entertaining, trend-led and relatable videos
Festive campaigns and new-product launches

Event Photography and Videography

Cover at least 6 planned events or filming sessions each month.
Prepare a content plan and shot list before important shoots.
Capture wide shots, close-ups, customer interaction, food preparation and team activity.
Produce clear, attractive photographs suitable for social media, websites and advertisements.
Publish event Stories on the same day where appropriate.
Deliver the first edited event content within approximately 2-3 working days.
Be comfortable attending occasional evening or weekend events, with working hours adjusted accordingly.

Meta and Google Advertising

Independently manage Sofnade's Meta Ads and Google Ads accounts.
Plan campaigns for corporate catering, weddings, live stations, festive menus and new products.
Conduct keyword, audience and competitor research.
Create and test advertisements, copy, visuals, audiences and landing pages.
Monitor budgets closely and prevent accidental overspending.
Review lead cost, conversion rate, lead quality and advertising returns.
Refresh underperforming advertisements without waiting for management to notice.
Ensure conversion tracking, Google Analytics and campaign reporting are accurate.
Clearly explain what is working, what is not working and what action will be taken next.

SEO, Blogs and Website

Research keywords relevant to catering, corporate events, weddings and live food stations in Singapore.
Write, optimise and publish SEO-focused blog articles.
Improve page titles, descriptions, internal links, image alt text and website copy.
Create and update campaign landing pages.
Update website banners, promotions, photographs and product information.
Monitor Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
Identify opportunities to improve organic traffic, enquiries and website conversion.
Keep Google Business Profile information and content updated.

Marketing Strategy and Growth

Bring new marketing ideas to management instead of waiting only for instructions.
Study competitors and identify areas where Sofnade can stand out.
Develop campaigns around festive periods, corporate demand and wedding-booking seasons.
Propose suitable collaborations, partnerships, influencers and content opportunities.
Help turn new Sofnade products and concepts into marketable campaigns.
Consider the complete customer journey, from seeing an advertisement to submitting an enquiry or placing an order.
Focus on meaningful business results, not only views, likes and follower counts.

Expected Monthly Output

The following serves as a working performance benchmark. Quality, timeliness and business impact remain important.

16-20 original, professionally edited short-form videos
8-12 carousel, promotional, photographic or graphic posts
Stories published consistently across at least 4 days per week
6 event or planned content shoots
4 SEO-focused blog articles
Regular website, landing-page and campaign updates
Active optimisation of Meta and Google campaigns throughout the month
A completed content calendar prepared before each new month
At least 2 well-developed new campaign or marketing proposals each month
Short weekly performance and progress updates
One consolidated monthly marketing report

Minor resizing, reposting or cutting one video into several nearly identical versions will not automatically be counted as separate original deliverables.

Footage that remains unedited or unpublished will not be considered completed content.

Reporting and Accountability

You will maintain a live content tracker showing whether each item is:

Planned
Awaiting filming
Filmed
Being edited
Awaiting approval
Scheduled
Published

Your weekly update should clearly state:

What was completed and published
What is being worked on
Upcoming shoots and campaigns
Advertising performance
Problems or delays
Actions being taken

The monthly report should include:

Promised versus completed deliverables
Content and follower performance
Website and SEO performance
Advertising spend and results
Enquiries, conversions and cost per lead
Best and worst-performing campaigns
Clear recommendations for the following month

We value honest reporting. If something is underperforming, we expect you to identify it early, explain why and propose the next action.

Requirements

Proven experience in digital marketing, social media or content creation.
Strong portfolio of short-form videos and photography.
Able to film confidently using a camera or high-quality mobile setup.
Strong editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar.
Familiar with Canva or Adobe design tools.
Hands-on experience managing Meta Ads and Google Ads.
Working knowledge of SEO, keyword research and blog writing.
Familiar with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Able to write clear and persuasive English content.
Comfortable appearing behind the camera and directing staff or customers during filming.
Able to travel independently to events across Singapore.
Organised, responsive and able to meet deadlines without repeated reminders.
Comfortable working in the fast-moving catering and events environment.

Experience in F&B, catering, hospitality, weddings, events or e-commerce will be an advantage.
