About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Executive Director to lead and drive technology initiatives across emerging areas, with a particular focus on blockchain, digital assets, and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead technology initiatives across blockchain, digital assets, distributed technologies, and other emerging technology areas.
Define technology direction and translate business opportunities into scalable technology solutions.
Lead the design, development, and implementation of new technology capabilities.
Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and technical approaches to identify potential opportunities.
Work closely with engineering teams to develop and deliver innovative technology solutions.
Partner with senior stakeholders across technology and business functions to align priorities and objectives.
Provide technical leadership and guidance across complex, high-impact initiatives.
Drive collaboration across multiple technology teams and external partners where required.
Establish appropriate technology architecture, engineering practices, and delivery standards.
Oversee the development and implementation of robust, secure, and scalable solutions.
Stay up to date with developments across blockchain, digital assets, distributed systems, and other emerging technologies.
Communicate complex technical concepts and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.
Mentor and develop technology professionals while fostering a strong engineering culture.
Identify opportunities to improve existing technology capabilities and explore new areas of innovation.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Extensive experience in technology, engineering, architecture, or software development, with significant leadership experience.
Strong understanding of blockchain, distributed ledger technology, digital assets, digital currencies, or related emerging technologies.
Proven experience leading complex technology initiatives from concept through implementation.
Strong software engineering and technical architecture background.
Experience working with engineering teams and senior technology stakeholders.
Strong understanding of modern technology platforms, distributed systems, APIs, cloud technologies, and software development practices.
Ability to assess emerging technologies and translate them into practical business and technology opportunities.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Experience within financial services, fintech, technology, or other highly regulated environments is advantageous.
