LNG Commercial Advisor - Energy Group

Overview

Our client is an established organisation with interests across the energy and infrastructure sectors. With a growing portfolio of activities across international markets, the organisation is looking to strengthen its commercial capabilities in Singapore and is seeking an experienced LNG Commercial Advisor to join its team.

Role

You will support the evaluation and execution of commercial opportunities, investments and strategic initiatives across the LNG and broader energy value chain. This will include assessing potential projects, infrastructure opportunities, commercial transactions, acquisitions and strategic partnerships.

You will undertake financial and commercial analysis, develop valuation and project finance models, perform scenario and sensitivity assessments, and support due diligence and transaction evaluation. Working closely with stakeholders across commercial, finance, legal and technical functions, you will provide analysis and recommendations to support key business and investment decisions.

The position offers broad exposure to strategic and commercial initiatives and the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of the organisation's energy portfolio.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess at least 7 years of relevant experience gained within energy, infrastructure, project finance, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, advisory or other relevant commercial environments.

You should demonstrate strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities, including discounted cash flow analysis, investment appraisal and scenario analysis. Previous exposure to LNG, natural gas, power or energy infrastructure would be advantageous, together with an understanding of commercial structures and project economics.

Exposure to quantitative tools such as Python, SQL or VBA will be viewed favourably. You should also be highly analytical and commercially minded, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
