We are supporting a leading Wealth Management institution in Singapore on a multi-year transformation program involving the modernization of its Core Banking System and Credit System. As part of this program, the Finance division requires a Senior Business Analyst to lead the adaptation of finance-related systems and ensure compliance with Group and Local Regulatory Reporting objectives under the new system architecture.

The role requires close collaboration with Group and Local Finance teams, regional regulatory teams, system SMEs, and technical delivery teams across Asia and Europe. The successful candidate will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technology, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, documented, and validated throughout the project lifecycle.

⇒Main Responsibilities

Organize workshops with respective stakeholders to assess business needs and finalize requirements.
Perform impact analysis and gap analysis in collaboration with Group & Local Finance teams, vendors, and consulting partners to align on requirements, data mappings, and scope.
Drive and plan application impact analysis following business workshops.
Ensure functional mappings and data definitions comply with both local and Group expectations.
Document detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
Translate business requirements into non-functional specifications for technology teams to develop.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure a smooth transition to new systems.
Identify bottlenecks and recommend process or system improvements.
Collaborate with technology teams to ensure seamless integration and development of application or data interface flows.
Build and maintain a backlog of requirements, transformations, and adaptations.
Work with various stakeholders to implement deliverables and resolve challenges and issues.
Be involved in the full development lifecycle, from Elaboration to Build, Transition, and Production.
Adhere to project governance and guiding principles.
Consolidate business requirements and obtain formal validation from sponsors or product owners.
Prepare migration and testing strategies and obtain formal validation.
Coordinate with all teams across divisions working on the same program.
Work with development teams, business analysts, solution architects, and application SMEs to design functional solutions.

⇒ Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT system implementations.
Strong hands-on experience in Credit Risk (Limits, Collateral Management, Counterparty Risk).
Strong hands-on experience in Regulatory Reporting (Basel IV, site-specific local regulatory requirements).
Strong hands-on experience in Core Banking (Loan and Deposit lifecycle, GL setup, Accounting movement).
Demonstrable experience in a similar role within the Wealth Management or Banking industry.
Experience working throughout the entire IT project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, documentation, workshops, testing, and stakeholder management.
Good knowledge of product lifecycles including loans, deposits, forex, derivatives, limits, guarantees, and securities.
Knowledge of Credit lifecycle and IFRS9 reporting system implementation lifecycle.
Good understanding of information flows and business functions within a financial services or banking environment.
Ability to produce clear and detailed functional specifications with a strong documentation focus.
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders across different regions.
