About the Department

The Learning, Leadership development and Talent Management (LLT) Team is part of the Human Resource Department at National University Hospital (NUH).

The team plays a key role in developing a future-ready workforce by managing learning and development initiatives, leadership development programmes, talent management activities, and staff sponsorships. We work closely with healthcare leaders, internal stakeholders and external training partners to support employee growth, build leadership capabilities and strengthen organisational performance.

Through this internship, students will gain valuable exposure to Human Resource practices within the healthcare sector, particularly in Learning & Development (L&D) and Leadership Development.

Learning Opportunities

The intern will have the opportunity to:

Gain hands-on experience in Learning & Development within a healthcare environment.
Understand how training and leadership programmes are planned, implemented and evaluated.
Develop project coordination and stakeholder management skills through interactions with trainers, programme participants and internal stakeholders.
Gain exposure to programme evaluation by analysing participant feedback, survey results and focus group discussions to generate insights and recommend improvements to programmes
Learn about sponsorship administration
Build professional skills in communication, event management, problem-solving and administration.

Job description:

Support end-to-end implementation of L&D programmes to ensure relevance, standards maintenance, and alignment to NUH's goals:
Programme Coordination: Plan and manage training schedules, coordinate with trainers, facilitators and participants, prepare training materials and provide logistics support for sessions as well as graduation event for participants
Reporting and Documentation: Compile stakeholder reports, prepare training outcome metrics, maintain training records and provide insights from evaluation data.
Claims Processing: Handle training-related claims and administrative requirements
Support other initiatives including staff wellness programmes and process improvement projects

Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Comfortable interacting with diverse stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
