Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Head of HR to lead recruitment and talent management for our Singapore operations, with a strong focus on building and growing our marketing, branding, sponsorship, and content/creative teams. As a core early member of the Singapore team, you will independently establish the company's HR function, reporting directly to the General Manager while working closely with the Head of Marketing / CMO as a trusted HR partner to the business.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Lead end-to-end recruitment for marketing, branding, sponsorship, and content/creative roles, including job analysis, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation
Build and maintain a talent pipeline within the sports marketing industry, including relationships with recruiters, industry communities, and academic institutions
Design flexible staffing solutions for project-based needs (contractors, interns, freelance collaboration models)

Organizational Development & Talent Management

Support the marketing team lead on organizational design and headcount planning
Drive succession planning and talent pipeline development for key roles
Support the rollout of the annual performance management process, including goal-setting (OKR/KPI) and performance conversation coaching

Employee Relations & Culture

Manage employee relations matters within the marketing team, including communication and conflict resolution
Design and drive employee engagement activities suited to a creative/marketing team culture
Monitor team workload during high-intensity periods (e.g. event preparation), and propose flexible work arrangements and employee wellbeing initiatives

Compensation & Compliance

Support compensation benchmarking and recommendations on salary adjustments/promotions for marketing roles
Ensure recruitment and employment practices comply with Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations and the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices
Manage Employment Pass / Work Pass and related work authorization processes

Cross-functional Collaboration

Act as the bridge between HR and the marketing business team, surfacing talent needs in a timely manner
Support company-wide HR initiatives (e.g. annual compensation review, training programs) as they apply to the marketing function
Support general administrative functions for the company

Requirements

5–8 years of relevant HR experience, including at least 2–3 years in an HRBP or recruitment lead role
Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Fluent English and Mandarin required as the role regularly supports Mandarin-speaking employees, candidates and business stakeholders across regional operations
Familiarity with Singapore employment law and MOM regulations
Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a creative, fast-paced team culture
Strong data sensitivity, with the ability to use HR systems and Excel for talent data analysis
Experience in sports, entertainment, creative/advertising agency, or FMCG industries is a plus
Experience recruiting for marketing/commercial teams (brand marketing, sponsorship, content/creative roles) is a plus
