2. Role Summary:

The Junior Product Expert (PXP) is a growth role for developing local technical expertise in TOMRA RVM products in Singapore. The successful candidate will receive structured training, coaching, and hands-on experience to progressively develop into a local product expert. The role supports product performance, B-series AI recognition, service efficiency, and customer experience by learning the TOMRA systems and products, providing practical technical support, preparing documentation, supporting training, and collaborating with TOMRA R&D teams in China to resolve technical issues and continuously improve product performance.

3. Key Responsibilities:

Product & Technical Support: Grow into the local technical reference for TOMRA RVM products by supporting installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and technical case follow-up.

Escalation & R&D Link: Support technical escalations by preparing clear fault documentation, raising and managing service desk cases, working closely with TOMRA's R&D teams in China to investigate and resolve issues, and building local expertise through knowledge sharing and lessons learned.

Recognition & Digital Tools: Support daily use of AI recognition, TRMS backoffice, configuration files, and local parameters as part of operational support.

Performance & Improvement: Monitor machine performance and service trends, identify repeated issues, and support corrective and preventive improvements.

Training & Documentation: Prepare and improve user guides, checklists, training material, and technical instructions support knowledge sharing with technicians, Service Operation Centre users, and other stakeholders.

Deployment & Market Feedback: Support machine deployments, pilot installations, and product introductions while building stronger market and product knowledge.

Safety & Compliance: Follow TOMRA SAFE standards, local HSE requirements, and incident/hazard reporting obligations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Basic technical understanding and a strong motivation to develop into a local TOMRA RVM product expert.
Curious, hands-on, and comfortable applying a structured problem-solving approach when investigating and resolving technical issues.
Ability to analyses machine data, service trends, recognition performance, and operational KPIs to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
Eagerness to learn new systems, tools, and product knowledge through hands-on experience, coaching, and TOMRA training programs.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technicians, customers, support teams, and internal stakeholders.
Well-organized, customer-focused, and safety-conscious, with the ability to prepare clear documentation, incident summaries, and operational reports.
Strong written and spoken English and Mandarin communication skills to support collaboration with regional stakeholders and technical teams.

Education & Experience

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Fresh graduates and candidates with 1 to 2 years of relevant technical, engineering, service, or product support experience are encouraged to apply.
Experience in technical support, field service, equipment maintenance, industrial automation, or related industries would be an advantage.
