Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in program management.
2 years of experience designing, constructing, or managing infrastructure projects.
2 years of experience developing and implementing scripts and automation.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in Network, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or other Engineering related field.
Experience with data center, networking, or telecom operations.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to construct, articulate, and defend simple messages or insights from analysis.

About the jobAs a part of the Global Submarine Networks (GSN) team, you will design, build and operate the subsea backbone network powering Google's products and services worldwide. You will work within our specialized Subsea build group, collaborating with international stakeholders and suppliers to create throughout the cable system life-cycle, from construction agreements to long-term operations, ensuring high reliability and security. Responsibilities

Navigate telecommunications and subsea networking issues by partnering with engineers.
Identify critical-path risks and standardized reporting across organizations by partnering with subsea cable and landing station teams.
Design automated methods and documentation to feed real-time global infrastructure health dashboards.
Deploy Gemini-powered automation and scripting for deeper program insights by collaborating with data analytics, and lead partnerships with cross-functional teams (Policy, Finance, Legal, Sales, etc) to ensure efficient delivery and critical path identifications.
Architect standardized, AI-enhanced tooling and frameworks to streamline the project life-cycle for global partners.
