Content Creator & Media Lead

About the Role

We are a fast-growing Sports & Outdoor Lifestyle company seeking a highly creative and self-driven Content Creator & Media Lead to take ownership of our visual content across social media, e-commerce, and digital platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about content creation, photography, videography, storytelling, and social media trends. You will be responsible for planning, creating, and producing engaging content that connects with outdoor enthusiasts, athletes, trail runners, hikers, climbers, and adventure travel seekers.

We value creativity, initiative, and proven content creation ability over academic qualifications. Whether your experience comes from employment, freelance projects, personal social media channels, or passion projects, we would love to see your work.

As the company grows, you will have the opportunity to lead future content creators, interns, and creative team members.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute content strategies across social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital channels.
Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality photo and video content for products, campaigns, events, and brand storytelling.
Stay up-to-date with current social media trends and identify opportunities to create relevant and engaging content.
Generate creative concepts and content ideas that align with the Sports & Outdoor Lifestyle market.
Produce short-form videos, reels, product showcases, educational content, lifestyle content, and campaign materials.
Conduct on-location shoots, outdoor shoots, product demonstrations, and event coverage where required.
Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of content assets.
Work closely with management to develop creative campaigns and brand initiatives.
Monitor content performance and continuously improve content quality and engagement.
Assist in building and leading future content teams, interns, and creative contributors.

Requirements

Passion for content creation, photography, videography, and storytelling.
Strong understanding of social media trends and content performance.
Ability to independently conceptualize, produce, and execute content from start to finish.
Proficiency in photo and/or video editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Comfortable filming both indoor and outdoor content.
Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of managing projects independently.
Interest in sports, outdoor activities, trail running, hiking, climbing, camping, fitness, or adventure lifestyle is highly advantageous.

Previous company or freelance work

Qualifications

Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualifications are welcome but not mandatory.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Relevant experience may come from employment, freelance projects, personal brands, social media channels, or independent content creation projects.

Content creation may take place in the office, outdoors, at events, on location, or wherever suitable for producing high-quality content.
Candidates should be comfortable working independently while remaining accountable for project timelines and deliverables.
