Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced audit and tax professional to support assurance engagements and statutory tax compliance work for a portfolio of clients. This role is responsible for performing audit procedures, preparing tax filings, managing timelines, and delivering quality client service within a professional services environment.

This role sits within the Audit department.

Key Responsibilities

Perform assurance activities and document audit procedures in accordance with professional standards.
Manage timelines and multiple engagements effectively to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Prepare statutory tax filings and identify developments that impact tax compliance.
Provide timely and professional client service throughout audit and tax assignments.
Develop an understanding of clients businesses and specific service requirements.

Skills & Requirements

Minimum diploma or degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or an equivalent professional qualification.
At least 2 to 4 years of relevant external audit experience, preferably within a professional services environment.
Strong understanding of audit procedures, financial reporting standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
Experience in preparing or reviewing statutory tax filings will be an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word; familiarity with audit software is preferred.
Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple engagements and deadlines independently.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
