To support CGI Client : Centrica Energy

REQUIREMENT DETAILS:

Centrica Energy requires a suitably qualified and experienced 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer to provide on-site support services for the Singapore office for 2-3 days per week. Centrica Energy will confirm which days of the week engineer is required.

The resource will support both the ongoing CMW migration programme and Business as Usual (BAU) workplace technology operations, ensuring local users receive timely technical assistance and that migration activities are delivered successfully.

This requirement is for a resource augmentation engagement whereby the engineer will operate under the day-to-day direction and prioritisation of Centrica Energy Team.

. Provide regular on-site technical assistance to end users.

. Support the successful delivery of the CMW migration programme.

. Improve user experience through timely incident resolution and request fulfilment.

. Provide local hands-and-eyes support for regional and global infrastructure teams.

. Ensure workplace technology services remain operational and supported during and after migration activities.

. Support successful delivery of the CMW migration.

. Provide local technical representation for Centrica Energy & Technology Teams.

. Ensure physical presence for planned support days.

. Maintain accurate documentation of activities completed.

. Escalate risks and issues promptly.

Out of Scope - The engineer shall not be responsible for:

. Technical design authority activities.

. Enterprise architecture decisions.

. Major infrastructure changes without Centrica approval.

. Security policy ownership.

. Risk acceptance decisions.

. Vendor contract management.

. Service ownership activities.

Coverage

. 2 - 3 days per week on-site.

. Additional support days available upon request subject to prior approval.

. Support hours aligned to local business operating hours.

Skills and Experience (Essential)

. Minimum three years of 1st/2nd line support experience.

. Strong Windows desktop support skills.

. Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting experience.

. Active Directory and Entra ID knowledge.

. Mobile device support experience.

. Hardware deployment and break-fix support.

. Excellent customer service skills.

. Ability to work independently.

. Experience supporting multinational organisations.

. Experience supporting financial or energy sector users.

. Familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira

. Experience supporting migration programmes.

. Basic networking knowledge.

Governance and Reporting - The engineer shall report operationally to:

. Centrica Energy Global Head of EUC & Operations.

. Day-to-day work prioritisation, task allocation and performance direction will be provided by Centrica Energy.

. The supplier's responsibility shall be limited to employment administration, payroll, training and replacement management in line with the agreed resource augmentation model.
