Job Description

The Architectural Coordinator will support project coordination between architectural, structural, civil and M&E trades to ensure smooth execution of site works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedule and quality requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate architectural works and interfaces with M&E, structural, civil, subcontractor and consultant teams.
Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, BIM/CAD drawings and highlight discrepancies, clashes or missing details.
Coordinate builder's works, openings, penetrations, risers, shafts, ceiling layouts, access panels, plinths and architectural finishes affected by M&E services.
Attend site coordination meetings and follow up on RFIs, technical queries, shop drawing submissions and material approvals.
Monitor site progress, workmanship and quality of architectural works against approved drawings and specifications.
Support inspections, mock-ups, defects rectification, handover documentation and as-built drawing records.
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams to resolve coordination issues promptly.
Maintain drawing registers, submission trackers, coordination records and site documentation.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
Preferably 3-5 years of relevant architectural/site coordination experience in construction, building or M&E project environment.
Able to read and interpret architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
Familiar with site coordination, RFIs, shop drawings, material submissions, inspections, defects and handover process.
Proficient in AutoCAD Revit, BIM or Navisworks knowledge will be advantageous.
Strong coordination, documentation, communication and follow-up skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced site environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge of architectural finishes, ceiling coordination, builder's works and M&E service interfaces will be advantageous.
