Job Summary

You will be the subject matter expert for Corporate Actions, focusing on Equity-Linked Notes, driving process improvements, delivering excellent service, and reducing operational risk.

Responsibilities

Authorize, validate, repair, and execute inbound and outbound instructions from customers and to depositories or agents to ensure accurate transaction processing
Contact depositories, issuers, and delivery/paying agents to reconcile discrepancies and clarify corporate action events
Instruct and reconcile cash and securities discrepancies promptly to maintain accurate records
Support and resolve complex customer queries through thorough investigation and analysis
Escalate and report operational issues and challenges to management promptly for timely resolution
Take ownership of issues, driving them to resolution within agreed timelines
Lead continuous process improvement initiatives by challenging existing workflows and automating manual processes to enhance operational efficiency
Perform additional corporate actions-related tasks as required to support team objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Minimum 3 years of relevant banking experience
University diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
Proactive in learning and proposing process improvements
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team
Positive attitude with a detail-oriented approach ensuring accuracy
Ability to work independently on projects and specialized tasks
Ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining organization and prioritization
Strong analytical and numerical skills to support data-driven decision-making
Effective verbal and written communication skills presentation skills are a plus
Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Access and Excel VBA knowledge is an advantage
