Role Overview

You will play a key role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial controls. This role requires someone who can both execute and improve systems - not just maintain them.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations

Manage full sets of accounts, including AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations
Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and payment processing
Monitor cash flow and highlight risks proactively

2. Revenue & Cost Accuracy

Ensure accurate revenue recognition (especially for courses, funding, and attendance-based revenue)
Track and reconcile payments against invoices and internal systems
Identify discrepancies and resolve them quickly

3. Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports
Provide clear insights on revenue, costs, and profitability
Support budgeting and forecasting

4. Compliance & Controls

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GST, and regulatory requirements
Strengthen internal controls to prevent errors and leakages
Support audits and liaise with external auditors

5. Process Improvement

Identify inefficiencies in current finance workflows
Automate and improve processes where possible
Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Ops, Tech) to ensure clean data flow

Requirements

Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent
3-6 years of relevant experience
Strong understanding of full-set accounting
High attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
Proactive mindset
