Role Overview

We are looking for a result-driven Key Account Manager to lead strategic client relationships, manage teams, and drive revenue growth from existing accounts. The role requires strong ownership of key accounts, team leadership, the ability to lead teams to consistently meet account objectives, business targets and SLAs, and driving revenue growth through effective relationship management, account expansion, operational execution, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Own and drive daily, weekly, and monthly business and revenue targets across assigned accounts
Drive target achievement through the team on a daily basis, including tracking performance and corrective actions
Identify opportunities to grow business from existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within existing accounts to identify and convert business opportunities
Conduct daily reviews / huddles to monitor progress, address gaps, and prioritize tasks
Lead, manage, and motivate teams to deliver on account objectives, business targets, service SLAs, and revenue
Monitor team KPIs, productivity, and performance metrics to ensure consistent delivery and target achievement
Track account-wise business performance and take corrective actions to close revenue and target gaps
Act as an escalation point for critical client and operational issues
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build credibility and strong working relationships with senior management and enterprise clients
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership and business growth
Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and service optimization
Prepare and present performance reviews, MIS, dashboards, and reports to senior leadership
Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team
Excellent customer service skills in the areas of problem-solving, task prioritization and follow-up
Ability to work well in a team environment
Collaborate with internal and external resources in order to gain credibility with senior management
Proactive and self-driven with a great sense of ownership
Good in negotiation and persuasion

Experience

4 to 9 years of experience in key account management, inside sales, business development, or similar revenue-focused roles
Mandatory experience in team handling and managing team performance
Proven track record of managing strategic/enterprise clients and driving business and revenue growth from existing accounts
Experience in achieving sales/revenue targets through upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion
Experience in managing and leading teams to deliver on account objectives, business targets, and service SLAs

Functional Skills

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong understanding of logistics operations, service delivery, sales, and client lifecycle management
Strong understanding of account growth, revenue generation, and target achievement
Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of analytics tools (VBA, SQL, R, Python) is a plus
