Job Description

Design and deliver instore how to sell sports strategies for the region offering the best customer experience, in line with the North Star project to drive sustainable and profitable growth.

Responsibility 1: Strategic Customer Journey Design

  • Experience Design: Create best-in-class end-to-end customer journeys for priority segments within the perimeter.

  • Strategic Planning: Define and animate the Merchandising Master Plan, continuously updating it through internal and external benchmarking.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Co-organize with Offer and Supply teams to collect country-specific needs and share them with Passion Brand Merchandisers to ensure zone-wide alignment.

  • Technical Focus: Identify market expectations and define long-term merchandising strategies.

Responsibility 2: Operational Localization & Delivery

  • Solution Adaptation: Transform United solutions into deliverables tailored to Hub Asia's specific offer and service selections.

  • Global/Local Consistency: Compile strategies from Passion Brands and other Supply Zones to guarantee global alignment with a local touch.

  • Technical Deliverables: Provide essential Y+1 season tools on time, including linear meter allocations, implementation logics, DAO, and POS.

  • Retail Empowerment: Support country teams by providing structuring principles of merchandising to increase their local autonomy.

  • Feedback Loops: Conduct regular Country Layout Feedback sessions to refine seasonal preparations.

Responsibility 3: Growth & Performance Management

  • Profitability Optimization: Analyze merchandising Top/Flops to improve linear and square meter productivity (TO/LM & TO/SQM).

  • Quality Control: Partner with CSL to debrief store layout quality and implement SMART improvements (Winning points, Green Plan, SCF).

  • Financial Accountability: Manage the annual budget effectively, covering travel, store tests, and CAD plan creation.

  • Business Impact: Ensure strategic decisions directly contribute to the Business Plan (BP) of the sports categories (TO, SLT, and Sustainable Sales).
