Zone Fulfillment Network Director

The Zone Fulfillment Network Director leads the strategic domains of Physical Distribution, Transportation, and Customs within the SAPMENA Network of Excellence. In this high-impact leadership role, the position is responsible for the end-to-end overview of the physical distribution network across the region, covering all Distribution Centres-both self-owned and 3PL.

The role is responsible for building a future-proof network that supports accelerated growth, with a dedicated focus on Omnichannel/E-commerce capabilities, cost to serve optimization, and the achievement of Green sustainability goals.

The role orchestrates the Transportation network for both inbound and outbound flows, driving the evolution of freight forwarder management and executing the regional logistics roadmap.

A critical priority of the position is the oversight of Customs for the zone, navigating risks and ensuring compliance within the highly volatile and diverse SAPMENA regulatory landscape.

The role will play a pivotal role in L'Oral's Beauty Tech transformation by leveraging advanced data analytics and AI-driven insights to drive superior operational performance

. Network Strategy: Define and lead the implementation of the SC network, transport, and customs strategy, ensuring alignment with the affiliates.

. Regional Governance: Lead the functional heads and managers for these domains across SAPMENA countries, providing the strategic vision and dotted-line leadership necessary for their performance and growth.

. Financial & Budgetary Leadership: Serve as a key contributor to regional budget validation, striking the balance between aggressive savings targets and the maintenance of premium service levels.

. Performance Excellence: Drive Global Performance Management and continuous network optimization to lean out costs while maximizing service agility and reliability. The role will champion the use of data analytics and AI tools to identify efficiency gains and optimize the fulfillment network.

. Expertise Animation: Animate and educate the supply chain community across the three pillars of Physical Distribution, Transport, and Customs to ensure regional consistency and best-in-class expertise.

. Future-Ready Investment: Identify and build future-ready capabilities, managing the strategic investments required to support the long-term business ambitions of the SAPMENA zone, within the framework of Smart Fulfillment.

. Strategic Partnerships: Lead the partner framework for Freight Forwarders, Customs brokers, and 3PL providers, overseeing contract management and SLAs for L'Oral SAPMENA in collaboration with Sourcing.

. Global Integration: Partner closely with the Global Network of Excellence to update Best Practices and lead the regional execution of central tenders and global RFQs.

. Sustainability & Compliance: Monitor and drive Green KPIs and global standards within the fulfillment network, collaborating closely with EHS, Quality, Sustainability and Finance.

. Digital Transformation: Drive regional NEO readiness and the deployment of advanced WMS/ODES, CMS and TMS solutions to modernize regional fulfillment operations, as well as digital solutions to connect with our carriers.

Qualifications

. Minimum of 10 years of senior operational experience, with a proven track record in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management.

. Strategic Global Network mindset with demonstrated experience in stakeholder management within a matrixed organization.

. Deep technical expertise in Supply Chain network design, international Transport, and Customs operations, including direct experience managing 3PLs and global suppliers.

. Strong proficiency in data-driven decision-making, with a demonstrated ability to utilize data analytics and AI-powered tools to improve supply chain efficiency and solve complex logistics challenges.

. Strong commitment to operational excellence and agility, fostering a demand-driven supply chain that prioritizes the customer experience.

. Ability to navigate complex external regulations and mitigate risks while maintaining strict adherence to Quality, EHS, and Financial standards.

. Advanced financial acumen with a mastery of cost management across the end-to-end Supply Chain.

. Visionary leadership style with the ability to anticipate business shifts and proactively adapt the fulfillment network.
