Job Description

  • Plan and conduct life skills, behavioural skills, and emotional regulation programmes for students.
  • Provide group and individual support based on students needs.
  • Build positive relationships and support students'social and emotional development.
  • Work closely with the school's Special EducationalNeeds Officer (SENO), teachers, and school counsellor.
  • Support students Individual Education Plans (IEPs)where applicable.
  • Maintain session records and prepare progressreports.
  • Follow the school's child safeguarding policies and report any welfare concerns.
  • Ensure programmes are tailored to students developmental needs

Requirements

  • Registered with the Ministry of Education (MOE), Singapore.
  • Minimum Diploma in Youth Work, Social Work, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children or youths with Special Educational Needs (SEN), especially those with Intellectual Disability(ID), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or ADHD.
  • Knowledge of positive behaviour support and trauma-informed practices is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
